The Shuhari Karate association was established in the year 2007 by Shihan B.Duraivelu , Shihan G.Gajendran , Shihan N. Pandian and Shihan B.Loganathan. The association was registered in February 2007 (registered by Govt of India no: 119/2007).
Our association was approved by Kyoshi R.Takeshi fukuchi 7th Dan black belt who lives in Brazil. He is a member of world Seigokan Karate Federation, a well known trainer and also president of Seigokan Goju Ryu karate Federation. He approved our association in the month of December 2008. We made our grand master Kyoshi to come to India for the first time and we organised a training program. He trained our students and the chief guest of that program was Asst.Comissioner Mr. Sylendera Babu IPS. This program was a grand success.
In 2009 our association was approved by Indian karate President Mr. Karate R. Thiagarajan from (KAI) karate association of india and also approved in (TSKA) Tamil Nadu sports karate association.
For the 2nd time we made our grand master Kyoshi R. Takeshi Fukuchi to come to India, Chennai in the month of October 2011 with his guidance we organised the 1st Skai Karate National Championship and seminar at J.J Basket Ball stadium. This program was also a grand success.
Once again for the 3rd time in October 2014 we made our Grand master Kyoshi to come to Chennai. This time we organised our 2nd Skai Karate National Championship under his external presence. There were more than 750 participitants around India participated in the championship and also our Grand master conducted the Black Belt grading for our students and distributed Black Belt & certificates to them.
Our Grand master promoted our SKAI directors B. Duraivelu, N. Pandian, G. gajendran, B.Loganathan to 5th Dan Black Belt and also honoured them by giving them certificates.
The headquarters of SKAI Karate is located in Thiruvanmiyur, Chennai . There are many Private branches and school classes and there are more than 1000 students are practising in our branches. For every year there are more than 100 students are attending the Black Belt Grading from our institutions and from that we are getting many Assistant Instructors. These assistant instructors are taking classes and developing our SKAI Karate. Our students had won many prizes in district, state, national and international level tournaments.
Our AIM and MOTIVE is to develop a good karate students and make them a true citizen of our Nation
